In their two years of marriage, Natalee and Braeden Miller have never once had sex without opening and closing with prayer.
“We usually sing a rest hymn too,” Natalee explains. “Our favorites are Love At Home and Come, Come, Ye Saints. Our bishop actually recommended it!”
“I absolutely did not recommend that,” says an appalled Bishop Lawson. “I don’t know where they got the idea from, but it certainly wasn’t from me.”
“When we were engaged, we prayed before every date,” says Braeden. “It helped us save our first kiss for marriage. Praying before having marital relations seemed like the obvious next step.”
The Millers believe that their copulatory invocations and benedictions have led to a bounty of joy and blessings.
“My hubby Braeden is the assistant ward choir director, which of course is a really challenging calling,” says Natalee. But you should have heard our Armies of Helaman and As Sisters in Zion medley on Sunday! I know that we’re being blessed for our righteousness.”
