Girl Vocal Point Collaborates with JoJo Siwa, Horrifies Thousands

Tired of being referred to as “girl Vocal Point,” a cappella ensemble Noteworthy was desperate for a rebrand. The group decided to collaborate with former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa to add a touch of edginess to their persona. However, their medley of JoJo’s single “Karma” and Frozen’s “Let it Go” left onlookers more alarmed than awestruck.

“I’m going to be honest. When I heard the line, ‘Thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat’ I just went ahead and approved the performance,” says Ed Adams, dean of the School of Music. “I wasn’t expecting all the, uh, gyrating.”

“Was she…doing the worm?” asks an aghast Kendreigh Wilson, a profoundly traumatized freshman.

“That did NOT align with the aims of a BYU education!” says Vocal Point member Jensen Denley, completely aghast.

“If I had known how bad of a dancer JoJo was, I would have never effed around,” says girl Vocal Point director Karson Troutman. “Frankly, the most inexcusable part of that performance was the choreography.”

Thankfully, BYU is taking responsibility for the damage inflicted by the performance. “We’re offering counseling services to anyone adversely affected by the event,” says Lesleigh Allen, campus therapist. “I just hope our student body can recover from this mass loss of innocence.”
