Over the weekend, President Russell M. Nelson celebrated his 99th birthday. He hosted a birthday party on Saturday night in the Conference Center, and The Alternate Universe obtained a copy of the guest list.
Attendees included a number of celebrities and all 347 of Nelson’s descendants. Performances by Bad Bunny, Harry Styles, and Ice Spice got everybody dancing throughout the birthday bash. Russ himself even joined Harry Styles on stage to play a piano version of “Matilda.”
Between each performer, Terry Crews led the entire party in his famous cheer “NINE-NINE!” in honor of Russ’s new age.
Of the party, great-grandson Eryckh said, “It was pretty lit, I guess.”
Russ addressed everyone with closing remarks at the end of the night. “99 hits different. I expect to pass through many canon events this year, and I hope to slay in all of my endeavors.”
Another of Nelson’s great-grandchildren began to ask, “Is Great-Grandpa in his Slang Era?”
