5 Gangs to Watch Out for in Provo

Far from the beacon of safety it was once known as, Provo, Utah has recently been ranked #4 in the nation for gang violence. Taking a moment to familiarize yourself with these groups may help you protect yourself and your family.

Tunnel Singers

This gang’s stronghold is located in the tunnel in front of the Marriott Center. They are most hostile when shaded in the darkness of night. If you are traveling alone and hear chanting, singing, or clapping, be prepared to flee or fight for your life.

“Be the Match” Advocates

This malicious group is a front for an organ trafficking ring. To date, they have assaulted thousands of students and stolen their internal organs to sell on the black market. Avoid at all costs.

Freshmen

Pushed to the edge by extreme economic deprivation, these feral thugs have been known to loot, jump, and rob. Many have been in and out of the state prison system for years.

On-Campus Missionaries

Operating under the guise of clean-cut traveling ministers, these men are actually gang leaders who have worked their way into the upper echelon of the system. “Pretty Boy” Smith and “Baby Face” Nelson have a whole zone of underlings who act as their criminal puppets.

Scooterers

This highly structured criminal organization is known for drug and weapon trafficking. Since their rise to power, drive-by scootings in Utah have been at an all-time high. If possible, don’t look them in the eye.
