This past weekend, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans for the construction of several new temples.

Outer Banks, North Carolina Temple

This temple will be part of an effort to appeal to a younger generation of Saints, teaching them to treasure the teachings of the Lord in their hearts.

Mars Temple

This will be the first extraterrestrial temple built, preparing the Gospel to be spread to all four corners of the solar system.

Area 51 Temple

Though this temple will not be open to the general population of church members, we are promised nothing weird will go on there.

Provo BYU Campus Temple

Following the demolition of the HFAC, a temple will be built on BYU Campus that provides drive-thru sealings to students.

Transylvania, Romania Temple

This will be the first temple that will be designated exclusively for proxy ordinances for the dead. Count Dracula has accepted a call as president.
