Mormon Church Reverts from Rebranding

This morning’s session of General Conference, President Nelson made a surprising announcement. “We will no longer refer to ourselves as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That is too long, and nobody’s got time for that. We will simply refer to ourselves as Mormons.”
“To be honest, I am quite confused,” tweeted Bucky Bell. “Back in my day, the word M0rm0n was derogatory.”
“We will now refer to ourselves as the Mormon community, rather than members of the LDSEFGHIJKLMNOP church,” says Ankyrin Folds.
“I always thought it was like a ‘We can call each other…’ situation,” said freshman Chadfrey Nicholsonsen.
churchofjesuschrist.org will go back to lds.org. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist will switch back to mormon.org. The “I Am A Mormon” campaign will come back. “Mormon Messages” will come back. And the “Mormon and Gay” website will come back out.
