Where to go this Flag Day

It’s Flag Day, and you know what that means – finding something fun to do! This year we suggest visiting the Joseph Smith Sphinx. It is located on the same block as Hire’s in Salt Lake City, and it is hidden so that even people who have lived there their whole lives have never heard of it. But let me tell you, it is a work of ART.

Why commute all the way up there? It is worth it. It is free. It looks regal. I am going to take my graduation photos there. There are flowers, so go there because there are clearly no flowers anywhere else in Utah.

“I feel like I am in the Garden of Eden. Everything is so gorgeous, what a perfect way to spend Flag Day,” says Jedidiah Brextertexn Jones.

We seldom offer free advertising, but this place truly takes the cake. Even though it is small, it feels larger and more magnificent than Liberty Park, which is literally right there and much better, I mean worse.

Don’t spend the day honoring your ancestors or going to Lake Powell. Go visit the Joseph Smith Sphinx instead. It is worth it. Make sure to bring him some Nyquil while you’re at it. He looks congested.

While you’re there, go visit Banbury Cross Donuts. And Hire’s Big H. I miss them.
