Another Sunday, another child seized by supernatural forces beyond our comprehension. Tragedy strikes the hearts of LDS families again as yet another child was reportedly taken by a mystic void located in a church building. Nine-year-old Johnny Rees was last seen playing near his church building’s table storage area before abruptly disappearing altogether.

As it is commonly known, a dark supernatural force resides in every LDS church gym stemming from the table storage area below the stage. While most adult members of the church are rightfully cautious when approaching this area, the curiosity of a child, like Johnny, can easily claim them as the void’s latest victim. Parents Brian and Jennifer Rees now desperately search for their son with the help of local police. 

“When you’re a kid, you just think it’s some silly legend,” explained Brian Rees. “But that place is for tables only. And it doesn’t take kindly to human folk. No one really knows what goes on under there…I’m just rooting for Johnny.”

“This case definitely hits home for me,” Provo Police Chief Ian Grover told the Alternate Universe.” The void once abducted my younger brother, and it took fourteen years for him to be returned. He wasn’t the same though. There’s still that glassy look in his eye today. Honestly, I’m not sure all of him returned that day.”

It’s believed that over 15,000 children are still reported missing under various church stages across the country. As a result, more LDS parents are teaching the lore of the void to their children as a cautionary tale. But as for Johnny, the search will continue and we are rooting for his return. 

“If the supernatural table storage void is out there listening, please- please return our boy,” pleaded Jennifer Rees. “If you want, take Brian instead.”
