At the conclusion of the Sunday Afternoon session of General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced plans for eight new temples.

1. Genovia
2. Mariana Trench
3. Mt. Everest Camp 4
4. The Bronx
5. Provo Kiwanis Park

In addition to the new temples, President Nelson also said that the previously-announced temple in Russia will be cancelled unless things change.
