Mutual Announces Partnership with Scooter Company

As gas prices rise and Provo students continue to “Spring Ahead” into dating, Mutual, a popular dating app, announced a partnership with LINK Scooters to provide the ultimate new transportation for new love birds.

Aaron Allred and Mark Springer, the CEOs of Mutual and LINK respectively, released a joint statement early on Tuesday morning detailing the new development.

“We know that the urge to date is greater than the urge to save on gas prices. That’s why we’ve come up with a way to do both! Starting next week, extra long scooters will be available to rent via the Mutual App. Scoot away with your girl’s heart with the new Scootual feature on Mutual!”

In small writing underneath there was an extra clause, “Lonely losers who ride the extra long scooters by themselves will be charged double.”

Provo students have been expressing their excitement over the new development.

“This will really spice up me and Moroni’s daily walk to the Duck Pond!” said Mckayliegh Nielson, a sophomore at BYU. “I might even be able to convince him to skip to the hand-holding stage by putting my hand on his on the handlebars.”

Other young daters are not so sure.

“I don’t believe in pre-martial scooter riding. Too much temptation.” Said Jared Christianson, a senior at BYU.
