BYU announces Rainbow Day to celebrate Noah’s Flood

This Friday as students and professors poured onto campus decked in rainbows, BYU officials announced their first annual Rainbow Day to celebrate God’s promise to Noah after the flood.

“I just woke up today and thought, wow, how grateful am I that God promised to never flood the earth again,” one BYU official was heard saying.

He continued, “It just seemed like a great idea, with this year’s Come Follow Me being in the Old Testament and everything. Why not have everyone dress up in rainbows to remember the flood and God’s promise. There’s nothing else this could indicate.”

Another BYU officer was ecstatic at the results, “It seems like people really got the memo out quick. I just can’t believe how many students went home to change into rainbows mid-morning after our announcement. Truly remarkable! If Noah could see this I’m sure he would be so proud.”

When asked about his outfit, one man wearing rainbows simply played “It’s Raining Men” and walked away, obviously in reference to the rains of the flood.

After being asked about the LGBTQIA+ movement today by a student, one BYU official was quoted saying “Oh do you mean Roy G Vib, I know the colors of the rainbow!”
