Church announces new film trilogy about keeping the Sabbath holy

Today, a letter from the First Presidency announced a trilogy of movies that will focus on the Sabbath. The letter was read over pulpits around the world to much confusion.

The first film, The Fast and the Testimony, will explain the meanings behind both fasting and bearing testimony. The final act of the movie will actually feature an entire fast and testimony meeting of a small inner city branch.

2 Fast 2 Testimony will address the proper method of fasting. Does one fast for 24 hours, or merely skip two meals? The members of the branch and their new bishop will discuss what should be done.

The third entry, The Fast and the Testimony: Tokyo Drift, will feature all new characters. Two young men are called to serve in the Japan Tokyo mission and will learn the importance of fasting and gaining a solid foundation for their testimonies.

The letter also mentioned that each movie will strongly emphasize the importance of family in fasting and gaining a testimony.

If all goes well with these movies, the Church plans to produce at least two more trilogies.
