Student’s 5 Year Plan Becomes Eternal Plan

It started out as a simple FHE activity: imagine where you want to be in five years and make a plan with tangible goals. But when Ammon Jensen started writing his five year plan, he found himself unable to stop. Instead, he made an Eternal Plan. Included in his plan are milestones like “get married in the Temple” and “convert LeBron James.”

“We studied the Plan of Salvation in my Eternal Families class last week and it just really inspired me. I can’t wait for my mission in the spirit world and my eternal increase!” said Jensen.

His FHE mom, Rylissia Anderson, described her thoughts on his project.

“Most people just made a bulleted list but Ammon seemed to take it a little too seriously. His drawings of future planets he wants to create are pretty cool though.”

FHE sister Amerliegh Allred had a different take.

“I’m a little worried that he put a heart with the initials AJ + AA in the marriage section of his five-year plan. We went on a date last week, but I thought it was clear it was just a NCMO.”

Ammon Jensen’s plan is now 10 pages and counting. He plans on showing the Bishop next Sunday in hopes of using it to teach “the best Sunday School lesson on this side of Y Mountain.”
