Cougareat to Partner with HCO to Fix Staffing Shortages

As many students have noticed, BYU’s Courgareat has limited hours and services this semester due to staffing shortages. The Cougareat has tried several solutions to the problem, including temporarily closing stores and limiting menus. These attempts have had varying levels of success, but they believe that they have finally hit on the best alternative.

The Honor Code is a notorious part of attending BYU, and many students struggle to maintain all the required standards. Students who are caught wearing tank tops, with extra piercings, or watching PG-13 movies are all subject to the wrath of the Honor Code Office.

To reclaim their good standing with the Honor Code office, students will now be sentenced to community service working in the Cougareat. “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God,” quoted HCO representative Jerry Andersen. “What better way to help our wayward students get back on track than by losing themselves in service with deep fryer?”

Cameron Monson, a current Cougareat employee, gave us his take on the recent news. “I cannot believe this,” Cameron said while weeping tears of relief on the Papa John’s pizza oven. “We have been so understaffed for so long… I haven’t been able to leave the Wilk in two weeks. Hopefully this means that someone else can make pizzas for a while so I can stop failing all of my classes. #GiveThanks that students break the honor code.”

Representatives from the Cougareat were unable to make a statement, as they were too busy pre-blessing the food to prevent contamination from the sinful honor code violators.
