Conference Fits Leaked

Salt Lake City, UT

Everybody was wondering what outfits this season’s conference speakers are going to wear. No surprise, they’re going to wear the same old thing, but this year with a twist—the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles plans to come decked out in fabulous outfits. This year’s conference theme is the American Experience, which isn’t too far off from what conference has been like historically.

Let’s go over the looks, shall we?

We’re starting off strong with Elder Renlund and his Edna Mode look. “My grandkids loved this movie, and I lost a bet with Elder Holland, so here I am,” complains Elder Renlund. “Gotta’ respect the woman, though. She’s so dedicated. I wonder what the Church would be like if everyone fulfilled their calling to the same extent that she does. By the way, the reason why we have no capes in this years conference is because of her—we needed to stay on theme.”

Next, let’s talk to Elder Bednar, who is holding a baby Shrek. “I wanted a baby Yoda, but my grandson wouldn’t let me borrow it.”

Elder Cook chose a horse girl outfit, and Elder Gong chose to wear a flower crown.

Elder Holland chose the blanket and Captain Crunch. Opting for the quintessential conference nap and snack, perhaps?

Highlighting the law of consecration, Elder Uchtdorf opted for the “tithe the rich” look. “This outfit was made by our family using an online account, which is shared by our family and associated with my name,” said Elder Uchtdorf, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, in a statement provided to the Alternate Universe. “I regret such an oversight on my part. I fully support the church’s policy related to political outfits on church leaders.”

Elder Ronald A “Shadowbanned” opted for a morph suit because he was too embarrassed to dress up.  Too embarrassed, in fact, to comment on this experience.

“Bestie and I let our granddaughters do our hair, and we are not disappointed,” says Elder Soares, who has apparently forgotten Elder Christofferson’s name.

Elder Andersen chose to dress as C3PO because, “I’ve always loved Star Wars.”

Elder Stevenson likes Spiderman, so he chose a spider theme for his outfit.

“I chose to wave a finish flag because I am already done with this,” said Elder Ballard.
