Penguin Bros Sued for Using Real Penguin Blubber in New Dessert

Penguin Brothers dessert catering and ice cream shop has been one of Provo’s finest gems for a number of years. Its family atmosphere, novelty branding, and delicious treats have kept it at the center of Provo’s social and dining scene. However, after the events of this past week, people are wondering if the Penguin Bros have turned novelty into animal cruelty.

Just this Monday, Penguins Bros released a new treat they called “The Bluzzard”, which can be compared to Dairy Queen’s “Blizzard”. In this cold and creamy treat, real penguin blubber is mixed in with a vanilla ice cream base. It didn’t take long before someone called the cops. And PETA.

“We regret our actions and have pulled the Bluzzard from the menu,” said the Penguin Brothers, in unison. They declined to comment any further.

What makes matters worse is the fact that the brothers used blubber from emperor penguins, which have been an endangered species for years. No one is sure exactly how they obtained this ingredient, but some suspect black market blubber dealers on the deep web.

It didn’t take long before PETA was on the scene of the investigation. Student animal rights activists have called for a Provo-wide boycott of Penguin Bros shops. Protestors can be seen chanting on Cougar Boulevard.

“ICE CREAM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ANIMAL RIGHTS!” shouts the crowd, echoing throughout the whole valley.

In the midst of all this clamor, the question becomes: will this be the end of Penguin Bros as we know it? Will they stand a chance in court, or will they blubber through an explanation for this disgusting stunt? Only time will tell.

In other news, Dairy Queen sales are up 70%.
