Ward Mission Leader’s Out-of-this-World Idea- Mars Drone Missionary Effort

On Monday, NASA made history with its Ingenuity Mars Helicopter (that is definitely a legitimate helicopter, not a silly drone like you kids are all playing with). This drone became the first aircraft in history to make a powered, controlled flight on another planet.

Local Ward Mission Leader, Brother Braxton Johnson, reported receiving divine inspiration when he heard this news. “I saw the video of that little robot hovering in the air and I just knew,” Johnson stated. “We have been so blessed to live in this time with such incredible technology available to do God’s work.”

Johnson’s stunning idea- using drones to deliver Book of Mormons to the surface of Mars. For the Martians. “Some people might say that we should focus our missionary efforts on those living on earth, or even on those who have been confirmed to exist. But are we not all ‘alike unto God’?”

Phase one of Johnson’s plan is already underway, as an initial flight to Mars using his son’s new drone is scheduled for noon tomorrow, or “at least before he gets home from school and sees what’s going on.”
