Heartwarming: Recent BYU Grads Move into Dream Home After Former Tenant Dies of COVID-19

Raysen and Rayson Turley were thrilled to finalize the sale on a two-bed, two-and-a-half-bath starter house in Lehi after 84-year-old Katherine Spendlove passed away.

The couple had been looking for a house that met their needs and their price range for several months with no luck, but Spendlove’s son didn’t have time to deal with his mother’s property following her death, so he listed the house at a low price. Score!

“This is such a blessing for my family,” said Raysen Turley, “it goes to show how even a pandemic can have an upside.”

Turley’s husband said that he had become worried that they would not be able to find a house in their price range given the market in Utah right now, but that he was glad that “everything worked itself out.”

What a happy turn of events!

The funeral service for Katherine Spendlove will take place this weekend on 27 March 2021 at the Walker Sanderson funeral home.
