Hank Smith and John Bytheway to Fight to Death in Parking Lot of Provo Multi-Stake Center

Co-hosts of the popular podcast, Follow Him, will be fighting to the death tonight in a showdown that many are calling the most anticipated event since in-person Commencement was canceled.

The match will be refereed by fellow religious author and second counselor of the Young Men’s Presidency, Brad Wilcox. Brother Wilcox said he’s hoping for a “dirty fight” that “ends in blood” and that the match must end by 9:45 because he “has a lot of early meetings tomorrow.”

This face-off is reportedly due to the men behind Our Turtle House repeatedly clashing over how to put the “fun” in gospel learning. The difficulties in this task come as no surprise to Sunday School teachers, who have been trying, and failing, to put the fun in gospel learning for decades.

People are already weighing in on who will leave the encounter victorious.

Sofie Jacobsen said, “Isn’t John Bytheway like 60? He doesn’t stand a chance.”

Others put their faith in the older participant, like Greiysen Hatch who said, “Let me put it this way, John Bytheway could do Be Happy, but Hank Smith could NOT have done Dating 911.”

Anyone who places a bet on the match or engages in any kind of gambling should go and meet with their bishop.
