President Nelson Debuts New Robot Arm, Possibly a Vaccine Side Effect

This morning President Russell M. Nelson confirmed reports that he has indeed developed an awesome new robot arm. It is still unclear if this new development is a side effect of the COVID-19 vaccine or an unrelated occurrence. “This robot arm is much stronger than my old arm, it’ll be good to help out with the folding chairs after stake conference.” said President Nelson.

Experts are divided on whether this new robot arm is a side effect of the vaccine. Some claim that there is no way a simple injection could create a fully-functioning mechanical appendage in a matter of days. “Usually the robo-arm process takes anywhere from three to six weeks.” stated Dr. Richard Nygard. Other authorities were more optimistic, releasing a statement reading “We fervently hope that this was indeed a side effect of the vaccine, because that would be totally awesome to have a bunch of COVID-proof cyborgs running around.”

Both groups have pledged further research into this matter. “The important matter at hand is distributing the vaccine as quickly as possible. After that we’ll have to wait and see if more people get robot limbs.” says Dr. Nygard, adding “Hopefully future vaccines will rapidly create cyborgs more reliably. We view this as more of a feature than a bug.”
