BYU Students Vote Biden to Make Sure Provo Is Blue on Map, Not Red

After the votes had all been tallied, several precincts in Provo reported that, for the first time in over three thousand years, BYU students had chosen a Democrat, Joe Biden, as their preferred option for President of the United States. Some Utah Democrats were happy to see this as a sign of things to come in the state while others had a different interpretation of Tuesday’s results.

“According to our exit polling, BYU students liked President Trump’s policies better than former Vice President Biden’s” said Provo pollster Craig McAdams, “It appears that they chose Biden simply because they didn’t like it when Provo was red on maps. We think this is because they don’t want to have anything to do with the University of Utah.”

Some speculative evidence supports McAdams’ prognostication. Some groups in Provo were heard singing the BYU fight song with the lyrics “Vote the Biden blue, so we don’t look like the U, as we vote prepare to gloat, c’mon Cougars its up to you!”
