Leaked documents from the Utah Coronavirus Task Force reveal that The Village will be one of several apartment complexes to receive early access to the COVID-19 vaccine when it’s made available. Years ago, these apartment complexes made various agreements with the state for their residents to receive premium benefits in the case of emergency. These benefits range from backup generators to discounts at country clubs. The COVID-19 vaccine falls under the medical clause of the agreement.

Residents of the Village will have the vaccine delivered to them in their rooms by a team of nurses. In addition to the vaccine, each resident will receive a complimentary massage and pedicure. The state will also pay for them each to have the day off from work and school.

The outrage among students and other residents of Utah has been enormous. Freshman Sally Christensen keeps repeating in her sleep, “The rich get richer.” Protests have been organized around The Village. People are lined up for several blocks. Residents of the Village have had to park in the secret parking garage to avoid them.
