Following the news that President Donald Trump was hospitalized with COVID-19 last week, national media attention quickly fell upon BYU President Kevin J. Worthen. According to our most recent reports, President Worthen has not been hospitalized with COVID-19 and is doing “pretty well all things considered”. Speculation has arisen that Worthen has taken social distancing and mask wearing seriously, leading to a continued lack of COVID-19 positivity.
Inside sources indicate that Kevin is “a little bummed that BYU didn’t play Army” and “wished he could have gone to conference in person”. These seem to be entirely normal things for a person to think and are not cause for any alarm. In his most recent public appearance, President Worthen reportedly walked from his car to his office while reading a copy of “Where the Red Fern Grows”. Sources are unclear as to whether or not Worthen had already gotten to the really sad part at the end.
