LDS Church to Record Laugh Track for Next General Conference

The biannual meeting for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints once again had to be held completely virtually. In a weekend of spiritual enlightenment and uplifting messages the general authorities were upset that their jokes weren’t well received.

The First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve immediately got to work to remedy this problem. They have officially announced that they will be recording a laugh track for the upcoming general conference.

“I really thought my hair loss joke fell on deaf ears. I know I would have killed it had there been a live audience,” stated Jeffrey R. Holland.

The laugh track will help boost the speakers’ confidence and make them feel more comfortable while speaking over the pulpit. Studio C offered their laugh tracks, but it wasn’t up to par with what the church was looking for. A casting call will go out later this week for the recording session.
