The Office of Governor Herbert released a statement announcing extreme preparations in regards to the return of thousands of Latter-Day Saint families from the grand re-opening of Disney World in Orlando Florida.
The statement included plans for more hospital space and a potential mandated quarantine.
“We don’t expect LDS families to be able to resist their home away from home, Disney World, so we’re taking extra precautions,” said a representative from the Governor’s office.
“I know things are bad and whatever,” said Utah resident Ariel Jasmine Belle Smith, “but our family just HAS to go to Disney every year! My 6 month old hasn’t been, and we know she would absolutely love all the rides!”
“I, a grown adult, thought I should brave large crowds in the middle of a pandemic because I need to ride the Dumbo ride!” added another Utah resident.
The Office of the Governor states that COVID-19 preparations will begin immediately.
