Worthens to Deliver Cookies to Every BYU Student Around the Country

Seeking to cheer up the BYU student body, Kevin and Peggy Worthen are spending the rest of their summer on a quest to deliver cookies to every BYU student in the country.  According to sources, the Worthens recently acquired a Winnebago and over 3,000 pounds of chocolate chips.

“We can’t fix everything for all these kids, but we think it would be nice to check in and drop off some cookies.” says Peggy. “Kevin got a good deal on a used motor-home so we’ll be traversing the country trying to get as many cookies out there as possible.”

President Worthen has always enjoyed a good DIY project and needed improvements to the motor-home are no exception. “I added three extra ovens and additional suspension to make sure the baking area stays level on bumpy roads.” says Kevin “I’m gonna be baking up a storm back here while Peggy lays rubber all over the U.S. of A.”

Cynics are quick to note that the Worthens will likely reach less than a tenth of BYU students. Peggy responded to these concerns by posting a video on her Instagram story showing the revamped Winnebago doing 0-60 in 3.8 seconds with the caption “Bet.”
