Zoom Announces New Account Option ‘Zoom Singles,’ to Partner with Mutual as Date Hosting Platform

Earlier this week, Zoom announced the launch of their newest account option, “Zoom Singles.” Zoom, a video conferencing service widely used during social distancing efforts, plans to partner with Mutual to host dates organized on the dating app.

“It’s a game-changing innovation in the dating world,” said a developer working on the upgrade. “Only issue was finding where to beta-test this option. We thought, ‘Who would partner with us to test this out? Who is so desperate to date right now off all times?’ Then it hit us: the Mormons. We called Mutual and got the green light later that afternoon!”

This new account option offers meeting upgrades to set the mood, such as the puppy face and candle-lit lighting filters. The reviews from beta-testers were released along with the initial announcement, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

“There was a girl I’d been seeing before all this started,” said Brigham Eyring, a BYU student who moved back home to California when classes went online. “I was so bummed I couldn’t see her anymore. When Zoom asked me to try out ‘Zoom Singles,’ I jumped on the opportunity. We started meeting each other online, and DTRed over Zoom just last week. A Zoom proposal might even be in our future– who knows?”

  1. I am a 68 widow who would like to meet men on a zoom login where we can see each other.
