Across the United States, various levels of quarantine have been instituted in an effort to flatten the curve. Despite Utah being one of the only states without statewide COVID-19 restrictions in place, the Stay-at-Home order has still been too much for some Utah residents to bear; protests against quarantine have ranged from Salt Lake City to Saint George. However, medical professionals seem to be mysteriously absent from any of protests.

“No, I don’t have any kind of medical degree,” said Linda Stewart of Utah County. “What I do have is a right to get my hair done. I know things are hard for everyone right now, but this situation has been especially inconvenient for me personally– quite frankly, a violation of my rights, probably.”

Upon further investigation, all medical professionals seem to be busy working tirelessly to help as many people as possible stay healthy and safe. Since testing capacity has dramatically increased since the initial outbreak, anyone with symptoms is now encouraged to be tested.
