The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released the much-anticipated lineup for the upcoming General Conference next month. The main headliners for the two nights are Russell M. Nelson and a surprise performance of a hologram of Joseph Smith. There are many notable acts throughout the day, such as Urim and Thumpin, Rage Against the Honor Code, Grandma Sycamore’s Legendary White Bread Band, and many more.
Church leaders have confirmed that Ja Rule and Billy McFarland, organizers of the disastrous Fyre Festival three years ago, are not involved with the planning. Mitt Romney was entrusted with organizing the event due to the success of the 2002 Winter Olympic that were held in Salt Lake City.
The much-anticipated festival will take place in Palmyra, New York. Tickets went on sale following the announcement this morning with the two-day pass being $295 and the single-day passes coming in at $170 each. All tickets that were handed out through stakes throughout the world have been voided.
