Provo resident Noah Legiance is reportedly having a fantastic Valentine’s Day with longtime girlfriend Peggy Gardner. Sources close to Noah confirm that he has already dodged several opportunities to finally say “I love you” and has no plans to be romantic at all throughout the holiday.

“Yeah, sure, I like the flowers and stuff from Peggy.” Noah said, doing bicept curls while speaking to our reporter, and visibly trying to avoid using the word “love” at all costs, “I’m just not quite ready to do anything thoughtful. I don’t want to lead her on or anything. Or make her feel too special.”

Peggy has been frustrated with Noah’s apparent lack of affection, but has decided not to get too down on herself.

“Sad? Oh no, I totally get it!” Peggy explained to The Alternate Universe, “Valentine’s Day has been way too commercialized anyway. Noah doesn’t need a special day to say he loves me. He doesn’t even need to say it at all. Ever. I just can tell that that’s how he feels. By the way he is.”

Although the couple has no official plans for the night, Noah figures he’ll probably stop by Peggy’s place after a long day of playing basketball with his friends. He hopes they’ll be able to close off the holiday with a chill, non-romantic time watching his favorite Netflix shows.
