In an unexpected turn of events, Irani officials are set to meet with President Trump late Thursday night to discuss a de-escalation of the brewing conflict between the United States and Iran. This meeting is reported to be between President Trump and President Hassan Rouhani, with only interpreters and a small delegation of mutually agreed upon mediators. As is common in such high stakes international negotiations, the chosen mediators will all be active members of Cosmo’s Dunk Team.
“It’s good to be out sharing our talents with the world,” says Dunk Team captain Grayson Manfeld, “which are of course throwing down sweet trampoline assisted dunks and mediating worldwide conflicts.”
When asked for his comments, Cosmo did a series of awesome dunks that can only be interpreted to mean he is ready to help both sides come together to reach an amicable solution. President Trump lauded the Dunk Team’s involvement as “Bigly tremendous, the people of Provoania should be very proud of their boys. I hope one day they may come to America to share their talents with us.”
Cosmo’s Dunk Team has been instrumental in world events for nearly sixty years, first getting involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 where their dunking prowess convinced the Soviet Union to move their nuclear missiles out of Cuba. This mediation is the first stop on the Cosmo’s Dunk Team World Peace tour, with future stops in North Korea, Kyiv, and New South Wales where they plan to dunk the fires out of existence.
Negotiations are scheduled to take place in the back of the Cosmobile.
