New Cast of Studio C Revealed to be Original Cast in Disguise

What better way to get into the BYU spirit than watching Studio C, the beloved family-friendly sketch comedy show on BYUtv. The original cast included Provo legends Matt Meese (known for portraying the infamous Scott Sterling), Whitney Call (known for being in those Lume Youtube ads), and Jeremy Warner (known for having facial hair).

After the show’s ninth season, the original cast left Studio C to pursue a new project. The show then welcomed a cast of 11 new comedians. However, this cast may not be as “new” as previously imagined.

The Alternate Universe recently received an anonymous tip from a BYUtv intern that the new cast is just the old cast in disguise. After investigating this claim, the Alt Universe was able to uncover several pieces of evidence supporting this shocking news.

Tanner Gillman, for instance, is a dead giveaway. As his main contributions to the show are funny voices and being hot, he is obviously just Jason Gray with new hair. Another easy one is Ike Flitcraft, who’s skinny build and nerdy vibe could only mean he is actually Matt Meese. His hinted romance with Jetta Juriansz further confirms this theory as the series seemingly could not resist another “Mattory”.

A round of applause is in order for the Studio C hair, makeup, and costume teams, except in the case of Garrett Allen, who is literally the spitting image of Adam Berg. Nice job guys, very subtle.

Two mysteries remain, including the true identity of the 11th cast member, as the original cast only had 10 people. Could it be a misplaced fan? Dan Debenham from the hit BYUtv show Relative Race? Kevin Worthen himself? The second mystery involves the announcement that Jason Gray will be returning to Studio C for season 14. The most likely result of this seems to be Jason/Tanner becoming stuck in a Hermione Granger-esque situation as he tries to keep up playing two characters.
